Your main focus for the new Enhancement is to manage Maelstrom Weapon stacks. You can pool up to 10 stacks, but only up to a maximum of 5 stacks can be used at a time. Maelstrom Weapon is returned to its original design - Melee attacks have a 20% to generate a stack, and each stack increases the damage and reduces the cast time of your next Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Chain Heal or Healing Surge by 20%.Enhancement Shaman have received a significant rework from their Battle of Azeroth iteration:Įnhancement no longer uses Maelstrom as a resource (and instead use Mana once more), with their rotation now oriented on juggling cooldowns.Experienced Shamans will notice some talents have been reworked or rearranged, and may require re-acquiring some talents.Until they are allowed to choose a spec at level 10, their abilities are drawn from the general Shaman abilities available to all specializations. New Shamans will not begin in a default spec (Elemental).These are abilities that are now shared by all Shamans, regardless of what specialization they are in. There is a new tab on your spellbook between General and your talent specialization, simply titled "Shaman".Players will not have the opportunity to choose a Covenant until their first character reaches level 60 in Shadowlands.
